Storm Castle North Guided Half or Full Day

Nestled along the scenic Gallatin River and with a less than 5 minute approach to the climbs, Storm Castle North is an excellent climbing area for individuals, families and groups looking to try outdoor rock climbing. The climbs vary from easy to challenging and your professional guide will make this a fun and safe adventure for all abilities.

  • Our professional climbing guides teach the foundational skills necessary for outdoor climbing with coaching on belaying and climbing outdoors.

    • Learn basic climbing knots

    • Learn to confidently belay in an outdoor setting

    • Efficient climbing technique, footwork, etc.

    • Customized instruction by a professional based on your experience and goals

  • No experience required

    • Professional climbing guide

    • Personal climbing gear (rock climbing shoes, harness, helmet)*

    • Group Gear: Ropes, carabiners, climbing protection, slings, cordelettes, etc.

    • Food, water, transport, lodging

    • Technical clothing, backpack, etc.

    • Rescue insurance

    • Trip insurance

    • Guide gratuity

    • 4% Public Land Use Fee

    • Unforeseen expenses from circumstances outside of Montana Alpine Guides’ control

  • Please see our Rock Climbing Equipment List for the required equipment for this trip. Technical equipment (rock climbing shoes, helmet, and harness) may be rented from MAG and is included in day cost. This must be coordinated in advance (especially shoe sizes!)

Rock climbing rates include all equipment and a professional climbing guide. Prices are subject to change. A 4% Public Land Use Fee will be added to all rates.
